Strong-Bodied Assam Green Tea from the Diphloo River

This is a rich, strong-bodied green tea, sourced from small tea farmers along the Diphloo river in Golaghat, Assam. It brews a golden yellow cup with a creamy texture and a sweet, lingering aftertaste, rich in taste and aroma yet gentle on the tongue. Made using only natural, traditional methods by small-scale growers who put real care into every batch.

Benefits

  • Strong bodied and rich, with a creamy texture and sweet finish
  • Whole long leaf, premium FTGFOP grade, handpicked
  • Sourced from small farmers along the Diphloo river in Assam
  • Rich in flavour and aroma, yet smooth and gentle on the tongue
  • Pure and natural, best enjoyed plain, with nothing added

How to Brew

  1. Heat one cup, about 200 ml, of water just until it starts to bubble. Do not fully boil it, as boiling water makes green tea bitter.
  2. Pour the hot water into a teapot and add one teaspoon, about two grams, of tea.
  3. Steep for two to four minutes. Shorter is milder, longer is stronger.
  4. Strain and enjoy. You can add lemon, honey, or mint to taste, and you can brew the same leaves more than once.

Lemon Tea Recipe

Brew as above and strain. Add the juice of one lemon and one teaspoon of honey. Stir well and enjoy a fresh cup of lemon green tea.
