Kadambri grew from a simple love of good tea. For over fifty years, our family has worked closely with the gardens of Assam and Darjeeling, learning the craft of tasting and selecting the finest leaves. In 2014 we brought that expertise online, so tea lovers across India could enjoy garden-fresh tea at their door. We started for a simple reason: the best Indian teas were being exported abroad, and too much of what was left at home was either overpriced or poor quality. We wanted to change that.

We taste hundreds of cups every week to select only the finest teas. We source directly from top estates, with no middlemen and no mixing of origins, and we sell only loose leaf, never sachets, because whole leaf keeps the natural flavour that tea bags lose. Nothing artificial ever goes in. Because we add nothing, the taste shifts gently with the seasons, exactly as nature intended.

Freshness You Can Taste

Tea is an agricultural product, so freshness matters more than anything. Traditional supply chains can take months to get tea from garden to cup. We deliver fresh, directly to you, so you taste the tea as it should be. Every leaf is hand-picked, packed in triple-layered, resealable pouches to lock in freshness, and chosen after careful tasting. Five decades of experience go into every selection.

Sourced Right, Certified Right

Our teas come from gardens registered with the Tea Board of India, and we are members of the Guwahati Tea Auction Committee, so every leaf is traceable to a genuine source. We are also FSSAI licensed for food safety, under licence number 10315001000210. When you buy from Kadambri, you are buying real, traceable, responsibly sourced tea.
